HogitUp

The latest incarnation of penny auctions by HogitUp.com is now officially among the ranks of failed prospects.

quitRabideagle Enterprises announced today that they will stop operations of paid auctions at HogitUp.com. As many have done in the past, they point to bidder complaints and issues as the reason for their failing. In this particular instance it seems as if the frustration of continued attempts to please customers has finally caught up with them.

Here's some of what HogitUp.com posted at their site today;

"HogitUp.com will completely cease all paid membership auctions effective 3-19-2012.

Following two different email complaints from users that don’t wish to take the time to understand how the auctions here at HogitUp.com operate we have decided that we are simply sick and tired of fielding complaints from people that don’t take the time to read.
No matter how many places we state how the site operates, what the rules are, why things work the way they do….no one bothers to read it. They prefer instead to email us telling us that they will post in forums that we use BOTS, allow collusion, or whatever else they can think of to threaten us into giving them free money.

HogitUp.com, the free bidding penny auction site, has announced changes to their site for this week. HogitUp.com offers penny auctions in a subscription format where there are no per bid fees. They have been running auctions only on the week-ends following a week of collecting what they called the member pool.

This week HogitUp.com announced that they will be running live, free bidding auctions every day. They indicate that the initial weekly auctions will be kept small as they continue to slowly grow their site and introduce this unique concept to the penny auction community.

Many of you that are familiar with HogitUp know that many of the free bidding auctions have been seen to go quite close to retail pricing, thus limiting the actual "deal" for the winners. HogitUp has also addressed this issue, using what they are calling a "cap" or fixed price feature. This ensures that no matter how crazy the auctions go, and how many free bids people place on an auction, the winner still gets a great deal.

The live auctions for this week are listed at HogitUp.com and can be seen to include Amazon e-cards for $10, $20 and even a $50 card to end the week.

Membership subscriptions also get you access to the HogitUp reserve auctions where they list unique products and occasional bidpacks to other PA sites.

HogitUp has also introduced a new daily membership to try out the site. Stop by and see the complete details of the HogitUp.com change for yourself.

Free bidding penny auction site HogitUp.com has just announced that they are incorporating some win limits to their site. So far this site has allowed unlimited free bidding with the purchase of a weekly membership. It appears that most of the auctions on the site have then been won by a very few of the subscribing members. Hogitup.com staff advised that they are trying out these new win limits in an effort to keep the site moving in the direction that they intended with it's re-launch. HogitUp.com also announced that they have again added more money to the initial "membership pool" and also hinted that they may be using HogitUp in the next few weeks to liquidate some inventory to make room for new items for HogitUp and their sister site Bidpigs.com. With membership subscriptions priced less than most penny auction coupon bidpacks, HogitUp.com offers a great value and lots of excitement for penny auction bidders.! Stop by HogitUp.com today and check out the win limits and this fun twist on the penny auction game.

Have you had trouble winning penny auctions? Have you lost moderate sums of money to standard penny auction play with nothing to show for it?

HogitUp.com would like to help! This unique site offers a reprieve from many of the things that the skeptics fear from standard penny auction play. HogitUp.com operates free per bid penny auctions. There are no per bid fees at HogitUp.com, but there is still the excitement of timed penny auctions and competitive bidding that penny auction bidders will tell you provide the thrill of the game.

In order to participate in the auctions at HogitUp.com a user must purchase a membership subscription. Aha! There’s the catch you say. Well, that’s just not so. HogitUp.com charges a very fair $7.00 for access to the auctions. This is less than most of you will pay for a single bidpack at another site! At HogitUp.com this $7.00 gets you unlimited bids in the live auctions, and also gives you access to a list of Reserve auctions. Currently the subscription period runs from Monday thru Sunday. Your membership purchase gives you access to the site through that period, and includes the LIVE auctions held during that particular week period.

What’s even better about HogitUp.com and the membership fees is that every new member adds value to what HogitUp.com calls its “membership pool”. The value of the membership pool can be found on the main pages of HogitUp.com and reflects exactly how much value the weeks LIVE auctions will have. As this pool grows new LIVE auctions are listed on the site. These LIVE auctions begin at $0.00 and increase by a penny a bid. Since your $7.00 purchase got you unlimited free bids for the membership period, you can’t ever waste more than $7!!

Just about everything else about HogitUp is the same as standard penny auction sites. The timers on the auctions still reset with new bids and the last bidder standing wins. If you win an auction you pay the current bid price and shipping.

The huge difference with HogitUp is that there is no fear of powerbidders, timer defects, credit card overextensions and that horrible feeling of losing hundreds with nothing to show for it! You will only ever have paid the membership fee plus win prices for any won auctions.
